In this article, I’m continuing my Ultimate List of Blog Ideas series, this time it’s blog ideas for food bloggers. Food bloggers, otherwise known as foodies blog about food. Some are focused on specific laser targeted niche like unique wineries or holistic foods, while others like to cover a wide spectrum.
Food bloggers are an interesting bunch because their site often reflects who they are, whether they are an open-minded and adventurous at discovering new or unique foods, or if they have a specific passion for one genre of food.
The idea list below is intended for food bloggers to keep topics rolling and be able to avoid the dreaded blogger’s block. It’s also an ideal list to consult for bloggers that are looking to either cover writing about food on their website, or actually becoming a food blogger.

Great list of ideas and very helpful for food niche bloggers.
I don’t have any project on this field but is very attractive I must confess.

Hi Nile,
Really great ideas for food blogging, can you share same for health blogging? I’m looking to create one but want to create my plan before starting my blog.
Mark says
Great idea generating topics Nile!
Just reading your excellent topic titles literally had my mind spinning!
From a general topic you really were able to show just how much potential
fresh content that is actually available to practically any subject!
Plus, even though you didn’t mention it directly, or every one of the subjects
you mentioned, could very easily be broken into multi part blog post and or videos and podcast as well!
And you still would only be scratching the surface!
Even though my particular niche is not foods per se, I found your list of potential blogging ideas extremely helpful, just the same! I even see opportunities to use your template for my niche as well!
Thanks for sharing topic generating template!

I like the idea of showcasing an organic farm. I am attempting to me the tech guy behind my wife’s gardening blog. We’ve only been at this three months but it’s been hard to generate traffic. I feel like we hid a plateau and it’s hard to find more people that would be interested in our blog. We are not getting any hits from search engines so I must be doing a lot of SEO mistakes but you got me thinking with your food blogger post.
Nile says
I do a lot of content generation consulting and enjoy doing it. 13 years of blogging…. I better know a few things… right? 😉
Peter Goudge says
Blogs and recipe books have flogged national foods for an eternity – Italian, French, Chinese, Greek, Turkish and so forth. How about a blog that focuses on food choices of ethnic minority groups such as the H’mong people in Vietnam and the Kaw people in Laos.
Keep up the good work.

I have a question that if we take more then 50 backlinks in a day then it will give higher ranking in search engine or not ? And making 50 backlinks in a day is spam or not, because i read that google decrease the ranking if you spam so please help me
Nile says
This has nothing to do with this post and probably should’ve been asked in a SEO related one. 50 backlinks in a day… depends where those backlinks come from and if they are going to remain as some of these deals out there with getting backlinks in massive waves are frowned on by Google because it is black hat…. and frankly… I don’t teach black hat SEO. 🙁

Wow! What a wonderful post! I will truly keep this post for many years to come! So much wonderful advice from one of the bloggers I look up to most, and have learned so much from! This was SUCH a great read, and I LOVE that you also got opinions from other great bloggers!!
I feel that each person in the blogging world has their own contribution to what they can bring to the table…if that is the right phrase to use. I know I am able to provide my readers with an inside track to see what life is like for a elite runner. I try to share my stories, and what I do to be the best I can be. I feel like that is mostly what i should write about to stick with what is unique about me.
