This week’s #WordPressWednesday includes a few guides like include security and web accessibility, a showcase of themes, BuddyPress news, and more.
Before getting into this week’s #WordPressWednesday roundup, I’ve got to explain to new readers what this special post is all about. This post originated out of the need to create a quick summary of the the most recent ongoings in the WordPress community. I read a lot of blogs each week, and many of them are WordPress related. So, #WordPressWednesday came about because of the fact that it fit well with Wednesday… yeah, I used alliteration (lol.)
I hope with this roundup, that in your busy week, you find some of these articles useful.

I’ve never heard of Facebook Instant Articles. After reading the post on how to set them up from WP Beginner, it looks like the cons may outweigh the pros (in my opinion at least).
Also, I thought it was fun to take a look at the default WordPress themes of the past. I’ve heard of all of them except for Kubrick, which makes since because I didn’t even know WordPress existed in 2005. 🙂
