#SharingSundays Recap 2015 Volume 1

By Nile Flores 13 Comments

sharingsundays-200x200#SharingSundays have returned! The difference is that this time, #SharingSundays has moved from my fan page to the Facebook group – You Can Do It! Online Training Group, or for short, called YCDI. This group is extremely active and quickly growing.

I moved #SharingSundays here for 2 reasons:

  1. Facebook fan page reach sucks.
  2. I’m a moderator over at YCDI and had discussed with the group founder and my best friend, Kimberly Castleberry, if I could introduce the event to the group, since it’s filled with highly engaged members who do blog.

The purpose of this event is to allow people to share their most recently written blog post. It’s also to allow people to read and share each other’s post. For YCDI, I hope it’s also a way to encourage its members to at least blog once a week. The reward for participating is that their blog article is shared on #SharingSunday recap posts much like this one.

The posts come from a variety of niche, some in marketing, some are personal, and much more.

#SharingSundays Recap 2015 Volume 1

Stephanie Briggs writes onMore Inspiration Porn… and no it’s not about porn, but it’s on her thoughts and finding on how people with disabilities may feel when others, even well-intentioned are interacting with them.

Vanessa Blais releases Download “Stealing Buyers Lists”, which even has slides, a video, and a free download!

Kat Sturtz covers Round One: Ask Kat Anything replay on her blog. It’s a podcast that covers a lot of great questions from the Facebook call to action, hosting a show, getting people to join your email list, and much more.

Jason How rounds up 11 experts’ top tips to improve Facebook ads for better results.

Kimberly Castleberry schools us on Converting Written Text Into Audio – Kick Back And Listen To Your Documents Or Articles!

Caliban Darklock discusses Pricing Strategies, in regards to selling Kindle books. May be interesting to read if you’re creating an ebook and about to release it, but have no idea how you should price it.

I hope you enjoyed this past week’s #SharingSundays roundup. Thsi even will be held every Sunday at the You Can Do it Online Marketing Group on Facebook.

    Hi Nile,

There is nothing better than a round up! These look fabulous. And you have reminded me that I need to do one this month….First month of the year is harrowing.

Thanks for this share, I’ll be visiting these wonderful people.

Hi Nile. What a great idea! I ran over and joined the group. I’ll have to start showing up on Sundays.

I have noticed that my Facebook page is pretty much sitting there. Do you suggest even having one? I’m thinking about just focusing on G+, Twitter, and Pinterest and ditching the FB page. It’s disheartening to post there and reach 2 people.

Anyway, I’ll look forward to being part of your group.

    All the best,
    Leslie

Hi Nile. Great article round-up and great idea! I love how you’re promoting a Facebook group and at the same time supporting members of the You Can Do It Training group! I need to meander on over there and check things out more often. How do you qualify to get a post featured? 🙂

Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you knew
of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.
I’ve been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was
hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.
Please let me know if you run into anything. I
truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
