This #WordPressWednesday is filled with a lot of great finds. After my post, How WordPress Has Changed My Life, somehow you all got me really fired up to blog. It was the kick in the rear that I needed after a lot of things that have been weighing on my mind.
This week we’ll cover some cool plugin roundups, some warm stories on how a plugin has helped people help the homeless or how a theme helped a customer with their business, WordCamp US announcements, and some cool tutorials and tricks.
#WordPressWednesday gathers some quality articles from all around the WordPress community, and allows you to have a peek on what’s going on. You’re busy, I’m busy… we’re all busy. Hopefully some curated content will help keep you in the loop. ๐
As a note, please don’t forget that this roundup coincides with the #WordPressWednesday event that is held at the Facebook group called All About WordPress. Wednesday is the only day of the week that the group allows self-linking to WordPress-related articles. Other than that, the group is for all walks of WordPress users, from novice, to advance. Please make sure to join, as well as share our group with your WordPress friends. ๐

Hi,
I really like WordPress. I i need establish a website in one day then my preference is about WordPress but I have one problem in WordPress its about the security. WordPress have not maintain their security as Joomla do. But if you want seeks about the establish a website in easy manner then no compare with WordPress.
Nile Flores says
Hi Alisha!
WordPress is actually secure. It’s what you add to it, and then don’t keep updated that is the issue. WordPress actually does a great job with maintaining security and is on top of vulnerabilities, very much like Joomla and Drupal. You probably aren’t up-to-date on how well it is actually doing when it comes to security. May want to try WordPress out and go through the steps to harden it’s security and use best practices in keeping your website secure… I think it will blow your mind. ๐
