wordpresswednesday-event-thumbnailThis #WordPressWednesday is filled with a lot of great finds. After my post, How WordPress Has Changed My Life, somehow you all got me really fired up to blog. It was the kick in the rear that I needed after a lot of things that have been weighing on my mind.

This week we’ll cover some cool plugin roundups, some warm stories on how a plugin has helped people help the homeless or how a theme helped a customer with their business, WordCamp US announcements, and some cool tutorials and tricks.

As a note, please don’t forget that this roundup coincides with the #WordPressWednesday event that is held at the Facebook group called All About WordPress. Hi Alisha!

WordPress is actually secure. It’s what you add to it, and then don’t keep updated that is the issue. WordPress actually does a great job with maintaining security and is on top of vulnerabilities, very much like Joomla and Drupal. You probably aren’t up-to-date on how well it is actually doing when it comes to security. May want to try WordPress out and go through the steps to harden it’s security and use best practices in keeping your website secure… I think it will blow your mind. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Not a problem. I saw that you had something good going recently on your website, so it needed to be featured. ๐Ÿ™‚
