There are a couple ways to install a theme in WordPress. I have put together a video screencast on how to install a theme in the WordPress administration area. This is just one of a few ways to install, but also the easiest way since it really is a one-click install method that takes mere seconds to do.
Please note that you can find the area for installing the theme in the WordPress backend by looking for the section in your navigation that is Appearance > Themes.
Useful little video, one thing I love about WordPress is that you’re not limited to the themes they have available and you can design and upload your own theme.
I guess after changing my settings according to these guidelines can increase the loading speed of my blog.Is this going to work for me
Good tutorial. WordPress is leader among the CMS only due to its updates. The updatation and changing of themes has never been easier than this. you can even search from the admin panel for the relevant themes for your website.

I think it’s simple to install a theme, the real question is how to change a theme and make it unique.

Installing fresh wordpress themes is not that difficult, and I do it pretty often, but most of the time I like to tweak them in order to make them look unique.

Well to be certain i dont think its so complicated to install a theme, what even is more interesting is e.g. to change from one theme to another and to know what are the diferences and what theme is really cool and gives me seo advantages.

I tried installing a theme and it failed so I landed here trying to figure out where I went wrong. This is nice video. It has my questions answered.
I guess I should use the easier method straight from my WP.

Excellent post. I went on the net and got a tutorial to make my own wordpress blog and got halfway though and found I didn’t have detailed instructions and called someone in to finish installing it – now it looks like I have the same problem with themes. It would be great if it didn’t say it’s suitable for beginners if it doesn’t contain exact detail of what to do.
