Mari Smith shows us How to create Facebook reels on desktop. Great little tutorial if you’ve been wanting to make reels, but don’t always want to use your phone.
Sophia Bernazzani shares 13 Social Media Calendars, Tools, & Templates to Plan Your Content. A lot of great tools mentioned.
Anna Sonnenberg shares 11 Instagram Video Ideas to Attract More Leads. If you’ve been trying to grow your Instagram, while using video, you may want to check this article out and see if there’s anything you could be trying out.

Neil Patel discusses Does Word Count Impact the Performance of your Posts? and you might be surprised about the research. Honestly, I’ve had a feeling for years on how word count performs. I may even have my own feedback article about this, and reference this. Super good read if you’ve been focusing solely on word count.
Christopher Hofman Laursen writes on the Moz blog about How to Win Potential Consumers with Customer Journey Mapping on Google. Christopher is spot on that you should be trying to get into your customer’s mind on what content they are really looking to read. This is the reason why some people don’t click on your site’s search results, as you’ve not addressed the need that needs filled.
Dave Davies over at Search Engine Journal tells How Search Engines Crawl & Index: Everything You Need To Know. If you didn’t or need a refresher, definitely read this article.
Phil Nottingham over at Yoast talks about The 5 most important YouTube metrics for SEO. These areas will help you understand how to optimize for getting better traffic to your video content on Youtube.
Web Design
The SEM Rush team put together a tutorial on How to Build an Ecommerce Site in 2022: 7 Simple Steps. It’s a good tutorial, but if you want to use WordPress, there’s not too many more steps to do the same thing.
John Hughes writes over at ThemeIsle on How to Enable Maintenance Mode in WordPress, in 4 steps. This is great if you’re making a change to the site, or need to take down the site for a brief time. Or you can use this if you are a web developer and need something to prevent the public from seeing your work until it’s ready to be seen by your client.
Preethi over at CSS Tricks teaches Creating Realistic Reflections With CSS. I’ve only done this with graphics, but to do this with CSS would be really cool, so I thought I’d share this with you, but this is also somewhat of a bookmark for myself.
Cosima Mielke discusses over at Smashing Magazine on Productivity Tips And Tools For A More Efficient Workflow. Might be something handy to compare against your current design and development workflow.
