Another #FanPageFriday has passed by. It’s very interesting as there seemed to be some confusion on how to participate.
This past #FanPageFriday, I saw more than 7 people come by and just share their own fan page, rather than follow the directions of the event. It was a little disappointing as that means their links aren’t in this recap post and they were set as hidden. This is fair because I’ve been holding this event for years and its not that hard to take an extra 20 seconds to share a fan page that you recommend.
In order to participate in #FanPageFriday, you have to like my Facebook fan page and then do two things which don’t take much time at all.
- Share a Facebook fan page from a person or company you recommend.
- Share your own Facebook fan page

A list of winning pages here, thanks for sharing Nile. Phill – the Gekko Page – is a really good guy, I have known him for years.
It is such a pet peeve of mine when people don’t follow the directions!! I do a regular event in which I ask people to link posts on a topic and then ask them to leave a comment telling us why they think the link they shared should be on our list… I think maybe 10 people total in two years have ever actually followed the instructions.
