Blondish.net Podcast: Blogging and SEO

By Nile Flores 19 Comments

Episode 2 of the Blondish.net Podcast is a little beginner coverage on blogging and SEO. I wanted to cover basics on SEO for the content and design. I do recommend in this post the plugin WordPress SEO by Yoast.

I go over some advice for writing the title and the content of a post as well as a few tips for designers. As a reminder, this is a basic SEO. I will cover some advance SEO in future podcasts.

The episode is a little over 15 minutes.

Most of the time we are looking for the best strategies for blogging and SEO but we cannot determine really which is the best by just looking.

I agree with you and its happened lots of time with me too but though experience blogger these kind of confusion can be solved and they know better what to chose and what to do for better results.

I absolutely love your blog and find the majority of your post’s to be precisely what I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write content for yourself? I wouldn’t mind writing a post or elaborating on a few of the subjects you write regarding here. Again, awesome web site!

Yoasts plugin is so comprehensive, a great way to optimise your WordPress site without many of the duplicate content issues that are so common.

    Hi Nile,
as a prosperity coach I have always given emphasis on the best tools to use for my coaching clients rather on techniques to drive traffic to my site.
As a matter of fact clients come to me from word of mouth and SEO has always been a grey area where I would need so much to learn;)
I am wondering if you know of a valid software that can be used in Italian and in English that does the SEO and chooses the key words from my target market taking into account competition and other factors.
I know many porfessionals would take huge advantage if a plug in or software is available for this task in an automatic way.
    Thanks!

Driving traffic into a website can be done by Internet advertisement campaigns too. But the advantage of SEO over such campaigns is that such ads may cost you money, time and energy again and again. So it is very essential that web designers understand the vast opportunities of search engine optimization and incorporate such design parameters so as to make the site highly visible..
