Nile Flores Media, formerly known as Blondish.net started in 2006. It was a culmination of several years of blogging exodus (since 2000) to find the right domain name to fit Nile Flores.

Aside from the blog, I offer WordPress website design, website and blog consultations/ mentoring, public speaking, SEO services, and graphic design.

About Nile Flores

My name is Nicole Lipscomb, otherwise known by a majority since I was a teen, Nile Lipscomb, and now Nile Flores. And just in case, it is Nile, not Niles. Also, I am a woman, not a man. I get a kick out of it sometimes when people make that mistake, but it is just an honest one. As of now, I am 43 and I am mother of one son, named Luis Angel Flores. Everyone calls him Angel for short. I am divorced (since March 2007.)

Currently I am a professional web designer and developer in the St. Louis metro east (Illinois side). I currently hold a degree in Professional Web Site Design. I’ve worked for companies like Yoast and WP Fix It, and have spoken at more than 50 WordCamps (WordPress Conferences) across the United States, as well as other social media and blogging conferences. I’ve also been a contributor to the GoDaddy blog and the Verpex blog.

Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, drawing, astronomy, web design, graphic design, softball, soccer, karate and watching anime. As of January 2014, I currently hold a Black Belt in Shoren Kempo Jutsu karate, which is an Okinawan style martial art.

While I am a very ambitious woman, my goal in life is to leave a legacy.
