30 Day Challenge With Sponsored Tweets PRO – Start

By Nile Flores 27 Comments

So, I decided to try out about a week ago the Sponsored Tweets PRO membership to really see if it makes any difference in gaining more paid to tweet opportunities.

With the system, apparently my membership would put me closer to the advertiser and not so far down as the ‘low man on the totem pole.’ This idea for experimenting came about as I combed the Sponsored Tweets support forum and the majority of the comments about it was just disappointing.

While I get a free 30 day trial on the system, I am going to be gathering comments from other PRO users, reveal if I actually got a decent opportunity or two, and share my final thoughts.

I am glad Izea is making money on their properties, but I think with so many users in the program, the advertising programs they offer, and more, the system, seems to have deviated off its original path and only become useful to those with large follower accounts. These larger follower counts do not necessarily have a great “true” reach – meaning they might have 80,000 followers, but maybe a reach that is 5 to 10 percent of that number.

It makes me wonder if even the Klout system, also an Izea property, is as accurate as it should be or perhaps another faulty system.

So, follow me on my journey.

Number of followers can easily be tampered using some services like twiends, increaser and so on. The truth should lie in the number of responses. I don’t know if Klout score can be tampered.

It’d be interesting to see your final verdict.

This is much nicer if you open to international tweeples. Who knows there are qualified people out there. But I am tweeting this one. 🙂

It would not be easy to gain tons of tweets, but its better of trying than never doing anything at all.

It's been over a week, any updates on the Sponsored Tweets thoughts or feedback? Just curious. I've been using Triberr for about a month, my list grew from 593 to now my tweets go out to over 30,000. But even though their tracking shows 60+ clicks on my posts, my Goog Analytics tells a much different story.

I'm looking around for serious alternatives. Maybe a good followup blog post idea – Top 10 Leveraged Tweet companies?

I also upgraded to sponsored tweets pro about a month and half ago. It's really hard to put a metric on the difference between pro and non-pro. The month before I went pro, I got a rush of offers. Then I decided to go pro and do the free trial. My plan was to keep it if it earned me more than the minimum threshold to cash out. I did get just enough offers to make the $25 threshold, so I kept the pro service. Although I would say that I got just as many offers the prior month. So far, I'm not sure if it's making that great a difference for me, however the cost is low enough that I'm keeping it for the time being.

I've never participated in such a programming, and I was wondering what it entailed. Is it a must that you say something positive about the advertiser – and wouldn't that be a little disingenuous to those who subscribe to you? – or are you allowed to say anything about it (as long as you talk about it)? Do you have to, or are you encouraged to, use hashtags? Etc.

Sponsored Tweets is another advertising platform that connects advertisers with tweeters: Companies can create sponsored conversations on Twitter and tweeters can earn money to spread these advertisements.
